The Beach House has five bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 2–12 people. Spacious living and dining areas are open plan, with large windows to ensure outstanding ocean and bay views, sweeping from the East Cape, Whale, Motiti and volcanic White Islands to the estuary and farmlands behind. Taking pride of place, the sunroom leads onto expansive seaside decks for relaxation, dining and access to the beach.
The well-equipped kitchen has peaceful estuary views and is well positioned to service both the indoor and outdoor dining areas. A wood-burning fire ensures atmosphere and warmth for the off season period.
Two upper-storey bedrooms -- one with a super-king bed (or two singles) and the other a king -- are both ocean facing. The share bathroom includes a large shower, vanity, heated towel rail, WC and a bath overlooking the section and estuary.
There are a further two ocean facing bedrooms on the ground floor -- one with a double and single bed, and the other a queen. The share bathroom includes a shower, pedestal basin and WC, with an additional vanity in the adjoining laundry. The large separate studio room is situated on the estuary side of the house and features a king bed, two singles/bunks, a double settee, wash basin (cold water only), bar fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.
